Elder Voice Family Advocates opposes SF 745, which would grant immunity to long-term care (LTC) providers and other health care providers and professionals. While, many good facilities have met the pandemic challenge and are giving good care, there are others who choose not to follow the federal and MN Department of Health (MDH) guidelines.
Our organization was established because many residents and families experienced significant neglect, abuse and exploitation. We work to raise the voice of the residents and families and pursue improved care in the long-term care facilities throughout the state. Our members and supporters come from every corner of Minnesota.
