Missed the event, but not your chance to make a difference

On October 21, Wooden Hill Brewing in Edina was buzzing! Friends, families, and caregivers filled the taproom, united to ensure that older adults and people with disabilities in Minnesota receive the protection and dignity they deserve.
We ate, drank, and swapped stories. Raffles, laughter, and real generosity fueled the night, all to support EVA. Every dollar raised is a building block for stronger laws—and this momentum launches us into the work ahead for 2026. There’s much more to do.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, or spread the word. Your energy lit up the night!
The message was clear: the long-term care industry is well-funded and determined to weaken oversight, slash protections, and silence families. And unless we act, they will succeed.
Here’s the truth: no grant dollars can be used to fight for stronger laws. That means every step we take to defend oversight, stop budget cuts, and pass protections is powered only by grassroots donations from people like you.
If you couldn’t attend, you can still be part of this critical fight.
Your gift today helps us:
Push back against devastating budget cuts.
Protect oversight of nursing homes and assisted living.
Hold the industry accountable and demand dignity in care.
We are outspent — but not outnumbered. Together, we can win.
