Join Elder Voice Family Advocates and AARP Minnesota at the Capitol on Tuesday, January 8 from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm to show support for legislation to protect our elders in long-term care residential facilities from abuse and neglect. Despite a clear need for reform, Minnesota lawmakers did not pass adequate protections in 2018. Volunteers traveling within 90 minutes of the Twin Cities are eligible for mileage reimbursement.
