Suzanne M. Scheller

Suzanne Scheller is a solo practitioner with Scheller Legal Solutions LLC. She practices in the areas of elder abuse and neglect litigation, financial exploitation, elder law, elder mediation as a qualified neutral, and estate planning. Ms. Scheller is active in the elder law community; including promoting the interests of the elderly and disabled through legal representation; supporting families as they care for aging parents through consultation and mediation; and advocating for public awareness, policy changes and legislative reform. She is a member of the Governor’s Consumer Work Group on Elder Abuse, founder of Elder Voice Family Advocates and a founding Board Member of Minnesota Elder Justice Center. Ms. Scheller is the former chair and current governing council member of the Elder Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. She is also the recipient of the 2018 Mary Alice Gooderl Award from the Elder Law Section for outstanding contributions to the practice of elder law.
Suzanne Scheller is a graduate of Hamline University School of Law and an adjunct professor in Elder Law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She is a frequent author and speaker on elder abuse and elder law issues. She is passionate about bringing the interests of consumers to a broader stakeholder community to prevent harm and to improve the quality of life for vulnerable adults and their families.
