Kay Bromelkamp

EVA and Elder Care IQ Treasurer

Kay was in management at Ameriprise for 14 years and most recently spent 10 years doing non-profit consulting including bookkeeping, administration, and financial management with Cleary Consulting.  Kay has a business degree from Missouri State University and graduate studies in Management at St. Thomas University. She also has a Certificate in Value Proposition Design from the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship.


She became a founding member of Elder Voice Advocates after her mother was abused and neglected in an assisted living facility in Minnesota. Kay was successful in leading the EVA team in securing a legislative audit of Minnesota Department of Health’s Office of Health  Facilities Complaints division.


Kay has worked extensively in business and focuses her expertise towards educating family members on their rights, what  to do to deter elder abuse and actions to take when concerns arise for loved ones residing within Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.


Kay and her sister Jean honor the life of their mom, who was one of many loved ones lost to abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
